Indie88’s Band and a Movie: Sam Coffey & The Iron Lungs + DETROIT ROCK CITY

Indie88’s Band and a Movie will is now happening once a month all year long! We’re inviting Torontonians and our favorite bands to The Royal Cinema for intimate nights of live music and film.

On Tuesday, July 17th, we’re bringing you a special performance set from Sam Coffey & The Iron Lungs and screening their fave flick, Detroit Rock City!

About the film:

DETROIT ROCK CITY is the odyssey of four high school bandmates who are willing to do whatever it takes to see KISS live in concert. Along the way they violate all realms of decency and morality (T2’s Edward Furlong does a strip tease “Strutter”) to bask in the alter of their rock gods.

This Band and a Movie is Riverfest Elora Edition! Come out for a great night AND the chance to win tickets to Riverfest Elora. You can catch Sam Coffey & The Iron Lungs at the festival this August.

Bring a pal, chow down on some popcorn, sip some Grolsch bevies and join us for this special one-time only event.

Listen to Indie88 starting Monday, July 9th with The Josie Dye Show (6am to 9am) for your chance to win a pair of VIP Grolsch seats to Band and a Movie AND a pair of Riverfest Elora tickets.

19+ and FREE to attend, subject to capacity.

Tickets handed out at 5:30PM. Doors at 7:30PM. Event to begin promptly at 8:00PM. Two tickets per person.
