Caroline Baniewicz is coming to the Royal Theatre on May 10th!

An actor, comedian, singer and content creator based in New York. She works full-time at Barstool Sports, hosting the podcast ”No Thanks We're Good" and singing for the company's band, "Pup Punk". She is a content maniac, often posting new sketches, characters, and original songs multiple times a week. She was a New Face Creator at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal in 2023. You can listen to Caroline’s hit songs “Dick Pics” and “Love in The Recession” on Spotify. Caroline’s originally from Dallas, Texas and grew up Homeschooled. She’s still reliving the glory days of winning the Christian Character Award on her Homeschooled basketball team.

The Toronto Ukrainian Film Festival (TUFF), for th

The Toronto Ukrainian Film Festival (TUFF), for the third annual festival, will be running from April 24 to 27 at The Royal Theatre. Featuring a lineup of remarkable films and documentaries, this year’s festival once again showcases a full range of powerful, recent work by award-winning, contemporary filmmakers.

Roman Lysiak, founder says “It’s no coincidence that our third festival launch aligns with the three-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” said Roman Lysiak. “Remarkably, there are powerful and important films still being made by Ukrainians, in all genres, but the many things we’re losing in this conflict include some of the world’s most talented storytellers. The creative future is at great risk, for so many around the world. Together through TUFF we will celebrate and stand up for Ukraine, in Canada, uniting together around the power of film.”

During the festival, TUFF will partner with Toronto’s St. Volodymyr Institute (SVI) to present guest speakers and ancillary programming, with more details to be announced.

Vittorio Angelone is an Italian-Irish comedian who grew up in Belfast. After moving to London to train as a classical musician he eventually made the predictable switch to stand-up comedy.

Julie Kim is coming to the Royal Theatre on March

Julie Kim is coming to the Royal Theatre on March 8th!

Julie Kim is one of Canada’s top stand-up comedians. Julie recently toured across North America doing 40 theatre shows with Ronny Chieng (Crazy Rich Asians, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah). She was a gala performer at the 2022 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and headlined four sold-out solo shows at Just for Laughs Toronto in 2023. Over the past decade, Julie has performed at all the major Canadian comedy festivals including Just for Laughs Vancouver, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Halifax Comedy Festival (with multiple televised performances). She tours internationally and made her debut at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Julie has also been regularly featured on CBC’s The Debaters.

In 2023 Julie also debuted at both the Toronto Fringe Festival and Victoria Fringe Festival with her solo storytelling show called No One Special.

Julie's mission is to spread happiness, lighten hearts, and unite through laughter. And no amount of mom-shaming will stop her in this quest.
